Brandon Rogers, Finance Manager, Giant Foods LLC

“It’s difficult to write a bio about yourself. Not because I couldn’t rattle off a few mundane details about myself that mildly differentiate me from the rest. No, that’s not it. It’s difficult because the words I need to adequately describe the things about which I’m most passionate haven’t yet been created.

A traditional bio might communicate to you that I have a beautiful wife, Traci, and have been blessed with two incredibly beautiful baby girls, Bailee and Henlee. You would learn from it that I have a couple undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting, and an MBA in Finance. You’d also find out that I own a small golf business… a venture that has taught me that no amount of education can ever replace having your own proverbial skin in the game. And, you would learn that I am exceptionally grateful to Giant, and some of my biggest sponsors there (Manuel, Jim, John, and the list goes on) who have provided me countless opportunities to learn and develop as a leader.

I suppose in the simplest terms, a bio, to me, is not about the things I am or I have done, but rather the people who’ve joined me on this journey. For me, it’s all about the way lives intertwine and how we, at our core, and searching for the most coveted opportunity anyone in business can have; a positive influence on another.”
